Gentle Parking was founded by William Ortiz-Cartagena, a native San Franciscan, who believes parking should be a service and not a commodity. William has an extensive Hospitality background, with ten years working for Joie de Vivre Hospitality. With the help of various organizations, such as MEDA, Mission SF Credit Union, LCCR, and the Opportunity Fund, Gentle Parking has created various opportunities for the people it employs, the community it serve in, and its business partners.
